Free interactive RSPH and CPD-accredited workshop on the latest scientific evidence on how diet and lifestyle affect the risk of cancer.
The workshop is suitable for health professional who works to improve public health and reduce cancer risk.
The workshop will explore the following areas:
• How diet, physical activity and weight affect cancer risk.
• Debunking common cancer myths.
• How to address the barriers health professionals face when talking to patients about cancer prevention.
• Confidence building when discussing cancer prevention to patients and clients using established behaviour change techniques.
The workshop counts towards attendees Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and is accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health.
This workshop is endorsed by the Association for Nutrition (AfN) for the continuing professional development of nutrition professionals. AfN CPD Endorsement is a quality assurance mark that identifies this workshop as a reputable, evidence-based training in nutrition science.
